I want to take a second and pay tribute to the woman who made my whole passion project happen as I have very BIG news to announce today about a major dream coming true.
That said, I grew up with my two grandmother’s being my best friends and when I lost one right after College, I leaned on the other more than ever. My grandma Nita is one of my best friends and I don’t know how I would have survived my young adult life without her. She fueled my love for cooking, was at many times a shoulder to cry on, and to this day someone I look to for advice. She taught me that women can do anything and I hope so far... I’ve proved her right! When she transitioned into a home last year I was inspired to help her find her glow again.
Transitions like this for many seniors is hard and sometimes even if it is easy, it is the years that come that make it harder. My grandmother's "glama shoot" was the epiphany I needed to start this volunteer program and it was THE very photo below that had me on my knees at the airport as I headed back to San Diego crying!! Alex Mooney your beautiful photo made me cry the happiest of tears. It captured how I see my grandmother no matter her age- strong willed, loving, compassionate, independent, and radiantly stunning.
That said, I can’t thank my grandmother, cousin Alex, MUA’s, brand’s, and each home that has allowed me to make this vision a reality. I never have felt so whole and my heart has never been so full giving the same experience my grandmother had that day to others.
That said, I’ve been hinting on Instagram that a major collaboration had been coming and the big reveal is FINALLY HERE!

In the past I’ve been gifting lipsticks to our GLAMA's so that they can have a little something something to take with them along with their photos and memories of the day. For the past year, I’ve had the stretch goal of upping the ante and in 2019, together, Thrive and TGP is making this happen!
